新年明けましておめでとうございます ENGLISH followed after Japanese greeting
１７年前、私の人生という樹は同時に三つの蕾（つぼみ）を迎えました。少しでも世界を良い場所にしたい、という使命のもと、国境を越えて命を救い、命の誕生を助けるという医療コンサルティング会社の発動、娘の誕生、愛犬の「春」を我が家に迎えたことです。まさに今、それぞれが花を咲かせ、次の章へと始動しました。念願の東京オリンピック水泳予選タイムを獲得し大学へと旅立つ娘、無償の愛を教えてくれた「春」の旅立ち。そして、数えきれない命と関わり、毎年、使命を果たしているという感触を得させていただいている私のライフワークは年輪を重ね、更に枝を伸ばしていきます。
この17年で世界は大きく変わりました。特に2020年3月にコロナ禍が勃発後、従来の社会の仕組みが崩れ、ビジネスもリセットされ、新しい社会が出来始めています。15年前に日本から性同一性障害の方が性別変換前に遺伝子を保存したいという依頼を頂き、初めて当障害を知りました。その後、多くの同ケースをサポートしてきました。現在、娘が生きる米水泳界で性同一性障害であった水泳選手が、女性選手として記録を塗り替えていることで議論を呼んでいます。弊社の信念は、他人が判断するものではない全ての方のそれぞれの幸せを達成するお手伝いすることです。次世代のための今後の社会の課題は、多様な選択肢が認められると同時に、新しい概念を規制するのではなく新カテゴリーを追加するなど、健康な社会の仕組みに調整することです。この成就を願うと共に、皆様の健康を心からお祈り申し上げ新年のご挨拶とさせていただきます。

Weekly Biz New Year’s Greeting 2022 :US-Japan’s leaders
Happy New Year
Seventeen years ago, the tree that is my life had three buds all at once. One bud was my medical/legal consultancy company, with our goal of making the world a better place by helping people save lives and assisting with births across borders. My daughter was born, and we welcomed a puppy named Haru to our family.
Today, each bud has blossomed and started toward its next chapter. My daughter, who made the long-awaited Tokyo Olympic Trials for swimming, is set out for college. Haru, who taught us unconditional love, departed to be re-born. My life’s work, which has helped countless lives and instilled in me the feeling that I am on the right path to fulfill my mission every year, has grown beautifully, and its branches are now growing as well.
The world has changed a lot over the past 17 years. Most prominently, since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020, the conventional social system has collapsed, the business world as we know it has been reset, and a new society has begun to take shape. Fifteen years ago, I received an inquiry from Japan that a patient with gender dysphoria wanted to preserve the gene before gender conversion. This was my first time learning about this identity disorder, and since then, I have helped a handful of cases for patients.
Recently, a transgender swimmer in the US, where my daughter lives, has caused controversy, as this swimmer has been breaking women’s records as a female swimmer. My belief is that we must help each patient’s personal medical goal. Our duty for the next generation is to contribute to a healthy social system within our community, such as adding new categories, rather than regulating new concepts as the world is evolving.
